The 31st edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1907 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Worple Road.
The Prince of Wales , who later became King George V of Britain , paid a visit to the tournament and assumed the presidency of the All England Club.
Men's singles
With the Australian Norman Brookes for the first time a non-Brit won the tournament in the men's singles. Last year's winner Laurence Doherty did not defend his title.
Ladies singles
For the third time in a row, Dorothea Douglass and May Sutton faced each other in the Challenge Round . Sutton was able to win her second title.
Men's doubles
The men's doubles were won by Norman Brookes and Anthony Wilding , who beat the Americans Karl Howell Behr and Beals Wright 6: 4, 6: 4 and 6: 2.
