Fred Perry defended his title. He beat Gottfried von Cramm in three sets in the final .

Helen Wills Moody won her seventh individual title at Wimbledon.

The Australians Jack Crawford and Adrian Quist were successful in the men's doubles .

Ladies doubles

Freda James and Kay Stammers won the women's doubles title .

Dorothy Round and Fred Perry won in mixed .
