Sinan Yeşil (born February 19, 1972 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player . Through his work for Samsunspor and Bursaspor he is associated with these associations.

Player career

Yeşil began with club football in the youth of Kartalspor and rose to the roster of the professional team in the summer of 1991 with a professional contract. After a short time he made the leap into the starting eleven and then advanced to one of the league's youngsters. In 1993 he moved to Yeni Sincanspor within the league . After a year at Sincanspor, he went to the top Turkish league at Samsunspor . There he immediately fought for a regular place and a little later was one of the most noticeable young players in the league. He also rose to the national team at Samsunspor.

After four years at Samsunspor, he left the club in the direction of league competitor Bursaspor . Here, too, he was part of the starting line-up from the start and played four seasons for this club.

For the 2002/03 season he moved to the TFF 2nd Lig to Karşıyaka SK . He left this club after a year and went to the second division Antalyaspor . After he was active for this club for two years, he spent one season each at Kartalspor and Maltepespor and ended his active football career in the summer of 2007.

National team

During his time at Samsunspor , the then national coach Fatih Terim appointed him to the squad of the Turkish national team as part of a friendly against Ukraine . In this game from May 1, 1996 he played his first and only international match.
