The 44th edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1924 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Church Road.
Men's singles
In the first all-French final, Jean Borotra defeated his compatriot René Lacoste in five sets. Borotra was to win the tournament again in 1926.

In the final, Helen Wills and Kathleen McKane Godfree faced each other. McKane-Godfree won in three sets, securing her first of two titles at Wimbledon.
Men's doubles
The Americans Frank Hunter and Vincent Richards won the men's doubles .
Ladies doubles
Hazel Hotchkiss Wightman and Helen Wills were able to interrupt Lenglen and Ryan's long winning streak. They won the final against Phyllis Covell and Kathleen McKane Godfree .
