Grand Slams 1891

The 15th edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1891 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Worple Road. There were 22 participants for the men and nine for the women.

Men's singles

After last year's winner Willoughby Hamilton did not defend his title, Wilfred Baddeley won his first title in the All-Comers final against Joshua Pim .

Ladies singles

Charlotte Dod prevailed against Blanche Bingley in the All-Comers final and secured her third title. Lena Rice did not appear to defend her title.

Men's doubles

Wilfred Baddeley and his twin brother Herbert beat last year's winners Joshua Pim and Frank Stoker 6: 1, 6: 3, 1: 6 and 6: 2 in the Challenge Round .
