The 66th edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1952 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Church Road.

For the first time, all eight top-seeded players reached the quarter-finals for both men and women.

Men's singles

Frank Sedgman won the men’s race . In the final he prevailed against Jaroslav Drobný, who started for Egypt .

Ladies singles

Maureen Connolly , who was only 15 years old, won the women's race .

Men's doubles

Ken McGregor and Frank Sedgman defended the title in men's doubles.

Ladies doubles

As in the previous year, Shirley Fry and Doris Hart won the women's doubles.

Mixed

In mixed, Doris Hart and Frank Sedgeman also managed to defend their title.
