In the individual, Anna Tschakwetadze won against Akiko Morigami 6: 1 and 6: 3. In doubles, the pairing Bethanie Mattek / Sania Mirza won 7: 6, 4 and 7: 5 against Alina Schidkowa / Tazzjana Putschak .

Anastassija Rodionowa was disqualified in her game against Angelique Kerber for unsportsmanlike conduct after she previously hit a ball in the direction of German fans.
