Angelika Bachmann (born May 16, 1979 in Munich ) is a former German tennis player .

Career

Bachmann started tennis at the age of six. She preferred the hard court for her game.

In her professional career she won two singles titles and seven doubles titles with changing partners at the ITF Women's Circuit. She reached her highest scores in the WTA world rankings in 2000 when she reached position 130 in singles (April) and 90 in doubles (December).

In 2004 she also became German tennis champion .

Bachmann was the top player of the TC GW Luitpoldpark Munich in the 2nd tennis Bundesliga.
