Ioana Raluca Olaru  (born March 3,   1989  in Bucharest  ) is a Romanian   tennis player  .
Career  
Olaru was introduced to tennis by her parents at the age of seven. She prefers the clay court for her game. In 2003 she took part in ITF  tournaments for the first time , and in 2004 she won her first double title.
In 2005 she was in the junior women's final of the French Open  , which she lost to Ágnes Szávay  . On the side of Amina Rachim  she also reached the double finals, in which they were defeated by Szávay and Wiktoryja Asaranka  .
Her first title on the WTA Tour  won Olaru, 2008 in Tashkent  when she with Olga Savchuk  in the final Nina Brattschikowa  and Kathrin Woerle  with 5 [: 7 10] defeated: 7 7 5. In 2009 she reached the singles final in Bad Gastein  , which she lost to Andrea Petković  2: 6, 3: 6.
On February 26, 2011 she won her second WTA double title when she defeated the Spanish pairing Lourdes Domínguez Lino  /  Arantxa Parra Santonja  with 3: 6, 6: 1, [10: 4] in the final of Acapulco  together with Marija Korytzewa  .
 
Since 2007, Olaru has also played 16 games for the Romanian Fed Cup team  , of which they won six.
After her failure in qualifying for the WTA tournament in Acapulco in February 2015, she only competes in doubles on the tour.
