İpek Soylu (born April 15, 1996 in Adana ) is a Turkish tennis player .

Career

Soylu mostly plays ITF tournaments. She has already won 12 singles and 18 doubles titles at the ITF Women's Circuit ; as well as three double titles on the WTA Tour .

Soylu received a wildcard for the İstanbul Cup 2014 , but failed in the first round to Karin Knapp . At the President's Cup in Astana in the same year she reached the second round of the main draw as a qualifier. In spring 2015 she reached the quarter-finals in Osprey , at the İstanbul Cup she was in the second round.

At the tournament in Istanbul in April 2016, she won her first title on the WTA Tour ; however, she and her doubles partner Andreea Mitu from Romania benefited from the fact that their respective opponents did not compete in either the semi-finals or the final.

Soylu played for the Turkish Fed Cup team for the first time in 2012 . She has already been used in 21 Fed Cup games, in which she was able to achieve 13 wins (including nine in eleven individual games).
