Zeynep Sönmez (born April 30, 2002 ) is a Turkish tennis player .

Career

Sönmez mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has not yet won a title. In 2017, she was banned for one year for taking the banned drug Modafinil.

For the qualification at the TEB BNP Paribas İstanbul Cup 2019 , Zeynep Sonmez received a wildcard , but lost in her first tournament of the WTA Tour in the first round against Julia Glushko with 3: 6 and 2: 6.
