Yang Zhaoxuan ( Chinese 杨 钊 煊 , Pinyin Yáng Zhāoxuān ; born February 11, 1995 ) is a Chinese tennis player .
Career
Yang Zhaoxuan played for a long time mainly at tournaments of the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has already won three singles and 12 doubles titles. In March 2016 she won her first tournament victory on the WTA Tour in Kuala Lumpur alongside Varatchaya Wongteanchai from Thailand . With that she climbed into the top 100 for the first time in the world rankings in doubles; in July 2018, she achieved her best ranking to date with position 20.
In 2018 she won the gold medal in doubles at the Asian Games. On the side of Xu Yifan they won against Chan Hao-ching / Latisha Chan with 6: 2, 1: 6 and 11: 9.
