Storm Sanders  (born August 11,   1994  in Rockhampton  ) is an Australian   tennis player  .
Career  
Storm Sanders began playing tennis at the age of six and prefers hard courts according to the ITF player profile.
On the WTA Tour  she appeared for the first time in 2012 at Moorilla Hobart International  , where she lost her first game against Estrella Cabeza-Candela  with 2: 6 and 4: 6 in qualifying . She also got stuck in qualifying at the Australian Open  . For the doubles  , she received a wild card  from the tournament management .
In 2013, too, she did not make it into the main draw of a WTA tournament or a Grand Slam tournament  . But as in the previous year, she received a wildcard for the doubles competition at  the Australian Open. In 2013 she won her first two titles at the ITF Women's Circuit  , singles at the Launceston  tournament and doubles at the Sacramento  tournament .
She also received a wildcard for Hobart International 2014  and so she was in the main draw of a WTA tournament for the first time. She won her first round match against Peng Shuai  6-2 and 6-2. She lost her round of 16 game 6: 4, 6: 7 3  and 6: 7 5  against Kirsten Flipkens  . In 2014 she again received a wildcard for the singles  and doubles competition at  the Australian Open. She lost her single debut at a Grand Slam tournament 6: 4, 1: 6 and 4: 6 against Camila Giorgi  ; in doubles she was eliminated from the side of Jelena Dokic  also in the first round.
