Vivian Heisen (born December 27, 1993 in Wiefelstede ) is a German tennis player .

Career

According to her profile on the ITF website, Heisen prefers to play on hard courts. So far she has mainly played at tournaments of the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has won two titles in singles and ten in doubles.

She played her first professional tournament in August 2010 in Hechingen ; she was eliminated there in her opening match, as well as in the following two tournaments. Heisen collected her first four points for the world rankings with a quarter-finals at the tournament in Alkmaar in June 2011. In 2012 she reached the semi-finals in Horb, where she had to admit defeat to Laura Siegemund in three sets. She reached her first final in October of the same year at the tournament in Monastir, which she also just lost in three sets against Nikola Vajdova . In 2013 she took part in a tournament on the WTA Tour for the first time . She received a wild card for qualifying for the Nuremberg Insurance Cup , where she lost 3: 6 and 1: 6 against Kateřina Kramperová in the first round . In the further course of the year she reached the semifinals at the ITF tournaments in Breda and Innsbruck.

In October 2015, Heisen then won her first professional tournament in Sozopol, where she was then victorious in doubles with her final opponent Julia Terziyska . In 2016 she won the Breda tournament.

Heisen played in the 2nd tennis Bundesliga in 2012 and 2013 for the club on the Alster in Hamburg, in 2014 for the MTTC Iphitos in Munich and in 2016 for the Braunschweiger THC . After an unsuccessful season in the 1st Bundesliga 2017 with the TC Blau-Weiss Berlin and the subsequent relegation, she played again in the 2nd Tennis Bundesliga in 2018 .
