Lenka Kunčíková (born July 29, 1995 in Nový Jičín ) is a Czech tennis player .

Career

Kunčíková began playing tennis at the age of five and prefers the hard court . She primarily plays in tournaments of the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has so far won one title in singles and 13 in doubles.

She played her first tournament as a professional in May 2011 in Přerov , where she was eliminated in the first round. In October of the same year she won her first victory at the tournament in Dubrovnik . In 2014 she reached her first individual final at the tournament in Ostrava , where she lost 4-6 and 3-6 to Croatian Jana Fett . She then celebrated her first title three weeks later at the tournament in Hluboká nad Vltavou , where she defeated her compatriot Jesika Malečková in two sets with 6: 4 and 6: 3 in the final . She has not yet played a single tournament on the WTA Tour .

Kunčíková celebrated greater success in doubles. In 2013 she won her first title together with Karolína Stuchlá in Bad Waltersdorf . She celebrated her greatest successes to date in 2015 when she won the two $ 50,000 tournaments in Nantes and Olomouc , both also with double partner Stuchlá, with whom she won twelve of her 13 titles to date. On the WTA Tour in 2015 they each received a wildcard for the Nuremberg Insurance Cup , the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open and the WTA Challenger in Limoges . In 2016 the two started at the BMW Malaysian Open 2016 , but were eliminated in round one 4-6 and 2-6 against Varatchaya Wongteanchai and Yang Zhaoxuan .

In 2015 , Kunčíková played in the German tennis Bundesliga for the first division club TC 1899 Blau-Weiss Berlin .

In July 2017 she played her last professional tournament in Prague, since July 2018 she has not been in the world rankings.
