Sally Peers (born June 1, 1991 in Melbourne ) is a former Australian tennis player .
Career
Her greatest sporting success to date was at the US Open in 2010 , when she knocked out the Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak 6-0 and 6-1 after qualifying in the first round of the main draw, before she also lost to Kim Clijsters in straight sets. At the side of Laura Robson she reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open in the same year ; there they received a two-set defeat against the pairing Marija Kirilenko / Agnieszka Radwańska .
At the Commonwealth Games in 2010 she won the gold medal in doubles and the bronze medal in singles.
It had its last international appearance in June 2017. It is therefore no longer in the world rankings.
