Elke Lemmens (born December 27, 1994 in Lommel ) is a former Belgian tennis player .

Career

Lemmens, who started tennis at the age of six, prefers clay courts. She mostly played tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she could win one singles and four doubles titles.

Lemmens played her first ITF tournament in August 2009 at the tournament in Wahlstedt, and has been in the world rankings since 2012 . In 2013 she reached the semi-finals in Sharm el-Sheikh , where she lost 4-6 and 2-6 against Anastasia Kharchenko . Lemmens achieved her only individual tournament victory in June 2014 in Adana , Turkey , where she defeated Julia Stamatova 3: 6, 6: 1 and 6: 1 in the final.

Lemmens played in the German Bundesliga in 2012 , 2013 , 2014 and 2015 for TC Moers 08 .

Elke Lemmens has not competed on the ladies tour since March 2015 and has not been in the world rankings since November of the same year.
