Valentini Grammatikopoulou ( Greek Βαλεντίνη Γραμματικοπούλου , born February 9, 1997 in Kilkis ) is a Greek tennis player .

Career

Grammatikopoulou, who prefers the grass court, started playing tennis at the age of seven. She has been playing tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit since 2011 , where she has won eleven singles and 18 doubles titles so far.

Grammatikopoulou played her first tournament on the WTA Tour in July 2011 at the Citi Open in College Park . There she lost in the first qualifying round to the American Whitney Jones with 2: 6 and 2: 6. In May 2013, in qualifying for the Brussels Open , she was eliminated in the first round 4-6 and 1-6 against Jennifer Elie . After that she played again without exception ITF tournaments.

In 2014 she made her debut for the Greek Fed Cup team . In the four encounters in which she has been used so far, she won five of her six games, including all four singles.

In 2013 she played in the 2nd division of the German tennis Bundesliga for the TC Blau-Weiss Halle .
