Ysaline Bonaventure (born August 29, 1994 in Rocourt ) is a Belgian tennis player .

Career

Bonaventure started playing tennis at the age of six and prefers hard courts. She mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has won 11 singles and 13 doubles titles so far.

At the French Open in 2015 she was in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time ; with her doubles partner Demi Schuurs from the Netherlands she reached the second round there. She succeeded in doing this at the Australian Open in 2016 , this time alongside Raluca Olaru from Romania.

In 2012 she was nominated for the first time for the Belgian Fed Cup team ; she has won five of her six singles and four of her nine doubles so far.

With the second division team ETuF Essen , Bonaventure was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga in 2014 .
