Maryna Sanewska ( Ukrainian Марина Заневська , English transcription Maryna Zanevska ; born August 24, 1993 in Odessa ) is a Ukrainian- born tennis player who became a Belgian citizen in September 2016 .

Career

Sanewska won in 2009 together with Valerija Solowjowa at the US Open and in 2011 with Irina Chromatschowa at the French Open each the double title in the juniors. From 2014 she was trained by the Belgian Julien Hoferlin († 2016) after he had ended his engagement with the Lawn Tennis Association .

She mostly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , where she has won 17 singles and 13 doubles titles so far.

Since she did not appear for the Ukrainian Fed Cup team , Sanewska was immediately eligible to play for Belgium by accepting Belgian citizenship in September 2016 . Sanewska played the Fed Cup for the first time in 2017. She lost her two games.
