Mariam Bolkwadze ( Georgian მარიამ ბოლქვაძე ; born January 1, 1998 ) is a Georgian tennis player .
Career
Bolkwadse started playing tennis at the age of nine and her preferred surface is the clay court. She primarily plays on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , where she has won five singles and seven doubles titles so far.
In 2016 she was in the final of the junior doubles at Wimbledon together with Catherine McNally . Bolkwadse played her first tournament on the WTA Tour at the Nature Valley Open , where she received a wildcard for qualification , but failed there in the first round against Chloé Paquet with 0: 6 and 6: 7 1 .
Since 2015, Bolkwadze has played seven games for the Georgian Fed Cup team . Their record shows three wins and four defeats (singles 1: 4, doubles 2: 0).
