Zwevegem is a municipality in the Belgian province of West Flanders . The municipality has 24,656 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) and has a size of 63.26 km². The districts of Zwevegem, Heestert , Moen, Otegem and Sint-Denijs belong to the municipality of Zwevegem .

Worth seeing

There are three windmills in the municipality, the Stenen Mill , the Mortiers Mill and the Ter Claere Mill . The Stenen Mill was built in 1798 and has been the property of the municipality since 1974. The grain mill has been restored. ´The grinder is no longer available. The Mortier mill was probably built in 1794 and the mill ter Claere was built. 1854
