Harelbeke is a Belgian city ​​with 28,158 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the province of West Flanders .

geography

The city lies on the Leie and borders directly on the city of Kortrijk to the south . In addition to the core city, it also consists of the two districts Bavikhove and Hulste .

Ghent is 35 kilometers (km) northeast, Bruges 37 km north and Brussels about 72 km east.
