Ingelmunster is 3 km northeast of Izegem , 10 km east-southeast of Roeselare , 11 km north of Kortrijk , 30 km south of Bruges , 35 km southwest of Ghent and 78 km west of Brussels .

The next motorway exits are at Roeselare in the west on the A17 , Deerlijk and Waregem in the southeast on the A14 / E17 and in the south at Kortrijk.

The nearest regional train stations are in Izegem, Waregem, Kortrijk and Tielt and national express trains stop in Bruges and Ghent.

Ingelmunster is the seat of the Van Honsebrouck brewery with the beer brand Kasteelbier , which is named after the castle ( Kasteel ) of Ingelmunster.
