Wevelgem is a city in the Belgian province of West Flanders . The city has 31,406 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). The districts of Wevelgem, Moorsele and Gullegem belong to the municipality of Wevelgem.

In Wevelgem you will find the German military cemetery Menen of the First World War . It is at the end of the Kruisstraat on the border with Menen . 47,864 soldiers were buried there.
