Moorslede is a Belgian municipality in the Flanders region . It is located in the province of West Flanders in the Arrondissement of Roeselare .
Geographical location
Roeselare is 8 km north-north-west, Ypres 12 km south-west, Kortrijk 15 km south-east, Bruges 35 km north and Brussels 90 km east.
The next motorway exits are in the south on the A19 near Beselare , Ypres and Menen and in the east on the A17 / E403 near Roeselare. There are regional train stations in Ypres, Menen, Kortrijk and Roeselare; Long-distance trains such as B. the Thalys stop in u. a. in the French city of Lille , in Bruges, Ghent and Brussels. The nearest international airport is located near Brussels.
In addition to Moorslede itself, the municipality of Moorslede also includes the sub-municipality of Dadizele with the Basilica of Our Lady and the village of Slypskapelle.
