Kortrijk is 7 km southwest, Oudenaarde 17 km east, Ghent 32 km northeast, Bruges 40 km north-northwest and Brussels 70 km east.

Deerlijk has a motorway exit on the A14 / E17 .

In Waregem , Harelbeke , Anzegem are the next -Vichte and Kortrijk regional stations and in Ghent also hold about regional express trains.

There is an international airport near the capital, Brussels.
