Twin cities

Bad Zwischenahn in Lower Saxony is a twin town of Izegem.

The town twinning only became official on September 20, 1980, when the mayors Vandenberghe and Hinrichs and the town secretaries Charlier and Dreyer signed the documents in Izegem.

Kachtem has been sibling with Hilders (Hessische Rhön) since 1974 .
