Yves Lampaert (born April 10, 1991 in Izegem ) is a Belgian cyclist .
Career
Lampaert was Belgian champion in the individual time trial in the U23 class in 2012 and drove for the Professional Continental Team Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise from the 2013 season . His first victory on the UCI Europe Tour came in 2013 at the Grote Prijs Stad Geel . In 2014 Lampaert won the one-day race Arnhem – Veenendaal Classic .
For the 2015 season he moved to Team Team Quick Step and won in the same year, the TripAdvisor Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen and was seventh in Paris-Roubaix . In the following year he became world champion in team time trial with his team and was able to repeat this success in 2018. He achieved his first success in the UCI WorldTour in 2017 at Dwars door Vlaanderen after a solo trip over the final kilometers. He became Belgian champion in the individual time trial and won the second stage of the Vuelta a España 2017 in the sprint in late summer, taking over the overall lead for one day. The next year he repeated his success at Dwars door Vlaanderen by attacking the final kilometer. In 2018 Lampaert became Belgian road champion. At Paris-Roubaix 2019 he was 13 seconds behind the leading duo ( Gilbert and Politt ) third at Paris-Roubaix .
