Stijn Devolder (born August 29, 1979 in Kortrijk ) is a former Belgian cyclist .

Career

Devolder turned professional at Vlaanderen-T Interim in 2002 . He got his first contract with a major cycling team in 2004 with the US Postal Service . Since then he has changed teams several times.

His skills on cobblestones helped him to two victories in 2008 and 2009 in the classic Tour of Flanders , which he won in the junior category in 1996 and 1997. Overall, he was Belgian champion six times, three times in road races (2007, 2010 and 2013) and twice in the individual time trial , in 2009 and 2010. He also won shorter stage races , including the Tour of Belgium in 2008 and 2010.

At the end of the 2019 season, Devolder ended his career as a racing cyclist.
