Jules Sales

Jules Sales (born June 23, 1875 in Brussels ; †) was a Belgian cyclist .

Jules Sales was a professional racing driver from 1901 to 1914. In 1904 he became Belgian road racing champion and was the first driver to receive the “Tricolore Trui” championship jersey. He won ahead of Arthur Vanderstuyft and his brother Theodore . In 1909 he finished second in a 24-hour race in Antwerp .

Sales competed three times in the Tour de France , in 1903 , 1904 and 1913 , but had to give up each time, twice during the first stage.
