Paul Burger (cyclist)

Paul Burger (* 1874 in Gent-Ledeberg , † 1940 in the United Kingdom ) was a Belgian cyclist and photographer .

Paul Burger was a professional racing driver from 1900 to 1906; In 1901 he became Belgian road racing champion. After his wedding he moved with his family from Ghent to Antwerp; when the war began in 1914 they fled to England.

There he lived, as "Paul Berger", in a London suburb and worked as a well-known photographer. He died in 1940, shortly after the outbreak of World War II .
