Georges Lemaire (born April 5, 1905 in Pepinster , † September 29, 1933 in Ukkel ) was a Belgian cyclist .

In 1925, Georges Lemaire was third in the Belgian championship in cyclo-cross racing . In 1929 he was the Belgian champion of the “independents”, in 1932 the Belgian champion of the professional road race. In the same year he finished 15th in the Tour de France . In 1933 he finished fourth in the tour after wearing the yellow jersey for two stages .

In September 1933, Lemaire, who had already been celebrated as the upcoming Belgian cycling star, fell at the Belgian club championship on the route between Brussels and Leuven , suffered a fractured skull and died a few days later in hospital.
