Jos Jacobs

Jos Jacobs (born January 28, 1953 in Vosselaar ) is a former Belgian cyclist .

Jos Jacobs was a professional racing driver from 1973 to 1985. As early as 1969, when he was still a teenager, he came second in the Belgian road championship. In 1980 he became Belgian road champion.

In 1975 and 1979 Jacobs Schaal Sels-Merksem won the Grand Prix Pino Cerami in 1977 , the National Sluitingsprijs in 1978 , Kuurne – Brussels – Kuurne in 1981 and Rund um den Henninger Turm .

Jos Jacobs took part in the Tour de France five times and won a stage in 1979 .

Today Jacobs runs a construction business.
