Dieudonné Jamar

Dieudonné Jamar (born November 6, 1878 in Hozémont ; †) was a Belgian cyclist .

Dieudonné Jamar was a professional racing driver from 1901 to 1911. As early as 1894 he had started at Liège – Bastogne – Liège and had taken eleventh place. In 1905 he was Belgian road racing champion in Jemeppe-sur-Meuse near Seraing . The race went over 100 kilometers with pacemakers . In the same year he won a Belgian championship title on the track . In 1904 he started the Tour de France , but gave up during the first stage. In 1909 he again won second place in a Belgian road championship, behind the Belgian cycling idol Cyrille Van Hauwaert .
