Frank Hoste (born August 29, 1955 in Ghent ) is a former Belgian cyclist .

Frank Hoste was a professional from 1977 to 1991 . One of his greatest successes in those years was winning three stages and the green jersey of the 1984 Tour de France . In total, he started eight times in the Tour de France and won five stages.

In 1982 Hoste became Belgian road champion. He achieved numerous victories, including the 1982 classic Gent – ​​Wevelgem and the Four Days of Dunkirk , the Grand Prix de Wallonie in 1984 and the Grand Prix of the Canton of Aargau in 1986 . He also won stages in the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de Suisse .

After the end of his cycling career, Hoste opened a bicycle shop. Today he works as a representative for foreign bicycle companies and works as a radio commentator.
