Lenah Jemutai Cheruiyot (born March 1, 1973 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

In 2001 she won the Tübingen City Run and was third in the Dam tot Damloop , in 2001 and 2002 she triumphed in the Würzburg Residence Run .

In 2002 she won the CPC Loop The Hague and set records at the Paderborn Easter run over 10 km and the Parelloop . At the Half Marathon World Championships in Brussels , she finished seventh and won gold with the Kenyan team.

The following year she was second in the Berlin Half Marathon and the Paderborn Easter Run over 10 km and won the Kassel City Run . In her debut over the 42.195 km distance, she was eleventh in the Berlin Marathon .

In 2004 she won the Lille half marathon and the 20 km from Paris , and in 2005 the Paris half marathon .

In 2006 she won the Venice Marathon . A fourth place at the Rome Marathon 2007 was followed by defending his title in Venice with a course record. In 2008, after another victory in the Paris Half Marathon, she was third in the Paris Marathon and sixth in the Istanbul Marathon . In 2009 she was sixth in Rome.
