Germain Derycke (born November 2, 1929 in Bellegem , † January 13, 1978 in Kortrijk ) was a Belgian racing cyclist .

Germain Derycke was a professional racing driver from 1950 to 1961 and a successful specialist in classic cars . In almost every year he could win at least one; 1953 Paris – Roubaix , 1954 the Walloon Arrow - the original winner Ferdy Kübler was reset due to handicap - and across Flanders . In 1955 he won at Milan-Sanremo , 1957 at Liège-Bastogne-Liège and in 1958 the Tour of Flanders . In 1953 he also won the Tour of Algeria .

Derycke started three times in the Tour de France ; In 1951 he decided the 23rd stage for himself. He was also on the podium twice at UCI road world championships : in 1953 he finished second behind the Italian Fausto Coppi and in 1955 third behind his compatriot Stan Ockers and the Luxembourgish Jean-Pierre Schmitz .
