André Trousselier

André Trousselier (born May 29, 1887 in Paris ; † April 16, 1968 there ) was a French cyclist .

In 1908, André Trousselier won the first professional staging of the Liège – Bastogne – Liège cycling race , which had previously only been held in the 1890s and for amateurs . In 1907 he had won a stage of the Tour of Belgium for amateurs.

Trousselier came from a cycling family. Four of his brothers were also racing cyclists; Most successful was his older brother Louis , who won both the Tour de France and Paris-Roubaix in 1905 .
