Prosper Depredomme

Prosper Depredomme (born May 26, 1918 in Thouars , France , † November 8, 1997 in Anderlecht ) was a Belgian cyclist .

Prosper Depredomme was a professional cyclist from 1940 to 1954. During these years he rode in various teams from France, Italy and Switzerland, but most of the years in teams that were sponsored by Wolber , a former French bicycle factory.

The greatest successes of Depredommes career were his two victories at Liège-Bastogne-Liège , 1946 and 1950. In 1938 he was also third in the Tour de l'Ouest , won the Omnium de la Route in 1942 and in 1943 the GP Stad Zottegem . He was twice third in the Belgian road championship, in 1945 and 1949. He also won numerous so-called “ fair races ”. He also started in four six-day races , but only with moderate success.
