Pascal Richard

Pascal Richard (born March 16, 1964 in Vevey ) is a former Swiss cyclist .

Career

Richard won the gold medal in the Olympic road race at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta . He also won the Tour de Suisse in 1994 with a lead of 1:02 minutes on Vladimir Pulnikow and in 1996 the classic Liège-Bastogne-Liège . Pascal Richard is multiple Swiss champion in road and mountain races. He also won the Cyclo-cross World Championships in 1988.
