Felice Puttini

Felice Puttini (born September 18, 1967 in Sorengo ) is a former Swiss cyclist and active sports director .

In 1984 and 1985, Felice Puttini celebrated his first major successes when he came second in the Swiss road championships in the junior division. He started for the Swiss national team in 1987 at the UCI Road World Championships and was 35th in the individual race. In 1988 Puttini took part in the street race at the Olympic Games in Seoul, but came home far behind.

The following year Puttini turned professional. As such, he won a total of five Swiss championship titles: in 1994 and 1995 the road race and in 1994, 1997 and 1998 the stayer on the track . In 1998 he was third in the Giro di Lombardia . In 1998 and 2000 he won the Giro del Mendrisiotto . He also competed seven times in the Giro d'Italia and twice in the Vuelta a España .

After the end of the 2002 season, he ended his career as an active.

After Felice Puttini was the sporting director of the Bigla Cycling Team , a women's cycling team for which Nicole Brändli , Jennifer Hohl and Sulfija Sabirowa competed, he took on this role in 2013 for the RusVelo team .
