Hanskurt Brand (born February 12, 1966 in Gstaad ) is a former Swiss cyclist .
In 1996, Hanskurt Brand and his team took third place in the team pursuit at the Swiss Championships . In 1997 he became Swiss champion in the single pursuit . He then focused mainly on standing races . In this discipline he became European champion in 1998, behind pacemaker René Aebi , after finishing second the year before. In 1999 and 2000 he became Swiss Master of the Stayers with Aebi. In 1998 he won the classic meeting “World Cup for Stayers” in Dortmund . In 2001 he ended his cycling career.
