Cyrille Thièry (born September 27, 1990 in Lausanne ) is a Swiss cyclist .
Athletic career
As a junior, Cyrille Thièry achieved his first successes on the street . In 2008 he finished third in the individual time trial at the Swiss Road Championships and won the GP Ruebliland . He won the 24 heures de Aigle on the track in 2008 and 2009 . Also in 2009 he came second at the Swiss Elite Track Championships in the team pursuit and third in the points race . In 2010 he and the Swiss team ( Claudio Imhof , Loïc Perizzolo , Damien Corthésy ) finished 15th at the World Track Championships in team pursuit, came third in the Swiss championship in team sprint (with Maxime Froidevaux and Théry Schir ) and won the Quatre Jours de Noumea 2010 , with Anthony Doubain .
In 2011 Thièry won the European title (U23) in the two-man team driving , together with Silvan Dillier , in the team pursuit he finished third with the Swiss team. He was also the Swiss champion in the team pursuit. The track European Championships the elite in Apeldoorn , he won together with Imhof the silver medal in the two-team driving.
In 2016 Thièry was nominated for participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where he finished seventh in the team pursuit with Olivier Beer , Silvan Dillier and Théry Schir .
