Loïc Perizzolo (born October 20, 1988 in Veyrier ) is a former Swiss track cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2005 Loïc Perizzolo was third in the scratch at the Junior World Championships in Vienna . In 2006, he and Maxime Bally won a run of the UIV Cup , the junior competition for six-day riders, in Dortmund , and in 2009 in Copenhagen for the second time with Tristan Marguet . In 2007 he was third in the European Championship (U23) in two-man team driving , with Bally. In 2010, he and Franco Marvulli became Swiss champions in two-man team driving, after having taken podium finishes at national championships numerous times in previous years. At the 2012/13 Track Cycling World Cup he took first place in the overall ranking in the Omnium . In 2014, he and Frank Pasche became Swiss champions at Madison. By 2017 he was Swiss champion a total of seven times.

In 2016 Perizzolo became European champion in the elimination race .

In August 2019, he announced his resignation from the national rail team. Against the background of health problems in the past seasons, it is no longer possible for him to provide the necessary services. But he still wants to compete in cycling races.
