Track Cycling World Cup 2012/13

The German team celebrates their victory in the World Cup in Glasgow.

The UCI - Track Cycling World Cup 2012/2013 ( 2012-2013 UCI Track Cycling World Cup ) took place between October 2012 and January 2013. and was the post-Olympic season of only three instead of - as in previous years - four competitions.

In the time qualification over 200 meters that preceded the sprint, the Chinese Zhong Tianshi set a new world record of 10.573 seconds. Her compatriot Gong Jinjie also beat Miriam Welte's world record from the year before by a hundredth in this qualification with 10.642 seconds .
