Luz Daniela Gaxiola González (born November 25, 1992 in Culiacán ) is a Mexican track cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2010 Daniela Gaxiola and Frany Fong set a new junior world record in the team sprint with 35.648 seconds ; the record lasted for two years. In 2011 she achieved her first international successes in the elite class of women when she won a silver medal at the Pan American Games in Keirin and bronze at the Pan American Cycling Championships with Nancy Contreras in the team sprint. The following year she became four-time Mexican champion in scratch , keirin, 500-meter time trial and with Frany Fong in the team sprint. She also won other medals at Pan American Championships, silver in the keirin and bronze in the sprint.

In 2015, Gaxiola and Jessica Salazar won the Pan American team sprint; the following year she won the continental title in the keirin, in the sprint she won bronze. In 2017 she was the Pan American sprint champion, in 2018 in the sprint and with Jessica Salazar and Yuli Verdugo in the team sprint. In 2019, she and Salazar won the team sprint at the Pan American Games in Lima , and she finished third in the sprint.
