Aksana Papko (born November 16, 1988 in Hrodna ) is a former Belarusian cyclist .

Athletic career

Aksana Papko is an all-rounder on the road as well as in various disciplines on the track . In 2008 she was Belarusian Vice-Champion in the time trial and finished at the junior European Championships in Pruszkow third place in the points race . In the same year she started for the first time at a World Track Championships and finished fourth in the team pursuit with the Belarusian team . At the UCI Track World Championships in 2009 , also in Pruszków, she crashed in the points race. In 2010 she won the national title in the road race and in the individual time trial as well as that of a European champion in the points race (youngsters). At the UCI Track World Championships 2011 in Apeldoorn , she was fifth in the scratch and tenth in the single pursuit .

In 2012, Papko was the Belarusian team pursuit champion, together with Alena Dylko and Tazzjana Sharakova ; this team also won bronze at the European Railway Championships in the same year. At the 2011/12 Track Cycling World Cup in Beijing, she took first place in the points race. Papko, Dylko and Sharakova started in the team pursuit at the Olympic Games in London and finished seventh. Aksana Papko then ended her cycling career.
