UCI Track World Championships 2009

The 99th UCI Track World Championships took place from March 25 to 29, 2009 in the BGŻ Arena in Pruszków (Poland) near Warsaw ; the cycling track there was planned by the Münster architect Ralph Schürmann . 33 nations were at the start. The program included 19 disciplines, expanded by the omnium for women.

Stefan Nimke became world champion in the 1000 m time trial in Pruszków.
