Mohd Rizal Tisin (born June 20, 1984 in Klang ) is a cycling trainer and former Malaysian track cyclist .

Athletic career

From 2006 Mohd Rizal Tisin was internationally active in track cycling competitions. In 2008 he took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing and finished seventh in the team sprint together with Josiah Ng and Azizulhasni Awang .

At the UCI Track World Championships in Pruszków in 2009 , Tisin won the bronze medal in the 1000-meter time trial after winning the time trial in the World Cup race in Beijing earlier this year. In October 2010 he finished second over the kilometer and third in the team sprint at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi . He was Asian champion a total of three times, in the team sprint and in the 1000-meter time trial.

At both the World Track Championships and the Commonwealth Games, Tisin was the first track cyclist from Malaysia to make it onto the podium. In 2012 he started for the Malaysian YSD Track Team . In 2013 he won gold in the 1000 meter time trial at the Asian cycling championships . The following year he withdrew from the national team for the Asian Games because his form was not enough. He then ended his athletic career. In 2018 he became the national trainer of Singapore for rail and road .
